What happened was we voted the wrong way and in their tantrum they have decided not to let us just vote the once. We must keep voting until we vote the way they want us to. Then it will be binding and only then.

There won't be a 2nd referendum because we already had one and the decision was binding.

Any attempt at one would see polling stations burn and a mass boycott of the referendum leading to unrest.

Better to honour the 1st referendum imo.

Why do we all keep on going over the same old ground in these threads. Maybe there should just be only one Brexit thread and keep all that rubbish in there?

I don't think a referendum is the way to go for two main reasons.
First until the actual terms are spelt out and made known to the electorate, they can't make an informed decision.

Even if they are spelled out, perhaps in a simplified form, would all of those voting actually read and understand the implication?

An unbiased, independent, professional body might be better equipped than Joe public to make that judgement.

Some of us find it interesting floydy, it is in the brexit forum so anything to do with brexit is fair game I'd have thought.

I see that arsehole Gove is inflaming project fear by stating that if May's complete cow pat of a EU deal is rejected, a second referendum will be on the cards. Talk about trying to force acceptance of a deal that keeps us under EU rules.

Then in a second referendum there should be only two choices:
- do you want the UK to leave the EU with the present deal on the table;
- do you want the UK to leave the EU with no deal?

For both choices the information presently available for the house of commons should be presented in comprehensive terms.

That isn't what the current campaigners are proposing .They are trying to include a Remain option knowing that their project fear campaign and a Leavers' Boycott will probably win the day for them..........

A decision has been taken by the electorate and it's the Gov't's job to deliver.

It's either Leave with a deal or Leave without a deal....
