Re: Attorney General fails to stop Contempt of Parliament

This is pretty serious stuff going on ! It's moved on from debates , and probably the next move is to oust the Government. All carefully plotted.

Why so suspicious about people in the service of the UK? Ever thought about the possibility that the legal advice is:
The EU negotiators have overseen that the UK is obliged to refund the rebate (4,7 bn) we have received for 30 years. So more than 120 bn £ should be payed.
If this advice is published, do you think europarliament would ratify the deal?
Just hypthetical of course.

Why so suspicious ? mainly because of what a lot of them have been doing the last few years. Well 40 years really.

What worried me though, was when asked, the Attorney General,(didn't he vote to leave?) admitted that there were parts of the backstop that even he disliked!! It does make one wonder just what sort of advice he gave to the government is contained in the full legal advice that he is so loathe to show to Parliament, the public and the EU??
Yes, I agree.

If there is nothing to hide, why hide nothing?

I think the Govt is on a "Hiding to Nothing", here!

Hi

It is extremely unusual in any negotiations to let the opposition know exactly what your position is, it gives them an advantage.

The EU certainly have not published everything.

The problem we have is that we no longer believe anything our Politicians say, with good cause.

We are treated like fools,

It has to stop.

Hi

Listening to it is depressing, self interest first, the best interests of the country second.

Hi

Labour just want to cause trouble for the Government.

Corbyn says he will leave but also says he will stay in the Single Market, so still paying in and still Free Movement.
