No doubt the growers of fruit and vegetables and other perishable goods are also keen to get a deal with the UK sorted.

I wouldn't be surprised if those wines are imported in the UK on the basis of a trade contract the EU has with these countries. You benefit from the reduced prices the EU has stipulated based on imports of enormous quantities of wine from these countries.
Maybe in the future you will buy (again) from france instead of australia, california etc.

We don't need clogs. They're manufactured in Yorkshire and other places - the lack of cheap inferior Dutch clogs could be that extra boost the industry needs.

It's produced in Ireland but owned by a British multinational based in London. So how does that work after Brexit?

That's the problem with Brexit thinking. People just assume we will still get the goods we have from outside Europe at the same prices, conveniently forgetting that what we pay has been negotiated on our behalf and that agreements exist with these countries.

Everything is likely to go up in price because we won't have the same bargaining power on our own and as Brexit has proved we are rubbish at negotiating.

Are they Irish cows that they get the cream from or London cows grazing in front of Westminster?
