Not just the police. The rate of firearms fatalities in USA is 40 times that of UK. The second amendment needs to be revoked.

Tough gun laws in UK after Dunblane and Hungerford, still not able to keep weapons from getting onto the streets.

They'll get that as well. You'll never stop the supply of illegal guns / ammo.

We have to be careful, a geezer once said something to me which was quite disturbing, and became a Policeman, that means more than statistics.
