We've caravanned for the last thirty years. We always take the dogs and they love it. There have been a few trips abroad, when our son dog sat and then we generally booked B&B, but had half board in Iceland, not sure why

It normally depends where we are going, years ago when we did caribean holidays they were always All-In.

Most breaks we take now are touring around so we self cater, and try to cram in as many nice restaurents as possible
