It is fresh!
It's not reheated. Spoonful of coffee, some milk, fill with cold water, stir. Two minutes in the microwave - comes out lovely and creamy. Stir again. Much better than from a kettle.

Ffosse, that would happen to me often (I just got my first microwave 2 years ago, I didn't believe in them because I thought they caused cancer).......so I would take out a special little pot I had just for that coffee, heat it on the stove and drink it. Just as good....

I am always doing this. Just always! I am not very mobile, so my husband makes the tea, I don't drink coffee. I drink Earl Grey tea without milk in it and luckily, it tastes as good cold as it does hot, so usually if I forget I drink it cold. I can't stand to have wasted not just the tea but his effort. I'm a proper teapot and drink a lot of cups a day. When I remember! ☺

Yes,quite a few times,I was distracted somewhere else,..I usually reheat the tea,in the microwave,for around a minute.
