Yes Rachel, take a note out of UJ's book, what he says sounds sense to me, I would do the same thing.

It's Fry-Up day for us.

Bits & pieces for lunch. "Old vicarage beef pie" with salads for dinner.

Last of the roast beef today, with mashed potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower. Bit of cauliflower cheese left from yesterday I turned into soup for myself.

Oh yuk to Turkey curry etc. ! Curry, stir fries and the like, need to be made with uncooked meat/poultry.

Had a good idea though. I shall def freeze some, but I have a friend with a few money problems, so I'll see if she wants half of it.

Oi some of us are late starters.
I am only just beginning to feel 'Christmassy' !

Had an unexpectedly fun time yesterday with a friend, who was buying a 2nd hand folding bicycle and wanted company. We'd not seen each other for a few weeks and wandered around the shops first.

FOOD ...
Today I ate some cold Turkey and a mince pie for brunch and may do the same for supper.
Maybe, I'll buy some aunt Bessie's roast pots at some point and have Xmas dins in a couple of days

Hmmmmm .... wonder what I can buy myself for Xmas

My hub and I ate out quite a bit over the Christmas holiday and today I made some homemade chicken soup...nice to eat on a cold winter day.

Re: What are you having for lunch/dinner?

Had an all day breakfast at about 11.30, so that did for lunch (sis left home without having breakfast so was very hungry).

So this evening I might have cheese and crackers.
