Isn't perception strange?

Went across to the local butcher's earlier - conversation was about films and film stars. I happened to mention I liked Jane Seymour and thought she was a beautiful woman.

Both the butchers and a customer (all male) said she was ugly!!

I should be so ugly.

Perhaps they were thinking of the one that married Henry VIII, and if they're from across the pond they probably believe all that stuff is made in Hollywood.
