The trouble is lots of 'advisors' and 'experts' have emerged out of the woodwork since we started broadcasting from our spare rooms. The best way to deal with it is to listen to the official advice then ignore all the rest. This morning on TV, there was an African black Lawer and wimmin's activist giving her opinion.

Fearmongering* ...... it's the way to make joe public sit up & listen ... there is a nasty virus out there and it kills. Plus, it doesn't do much harm to the majority of us but it will soon reach society's weakest if we are not careful.
*I mean those in charge, not the Youtube/Facebook posters.

The death rate for this is only likely to be 0-02% of world
population??

Because of our reaction more people are now going to die of

HiEpidemiology is a statistical science, until we get accurate statistics from all Countries we will not know what the relative outcome will be.
All Governments massage the figures, including our Government.
That is the way things work.
The UK has more spin doctors than scientists.

My sister was admitted to hospital on Tuesday for unrelated problems but has been tested several times for the virus, as a precaution (because of her kidney transplant). She said they go deep up the nose and right down the throat, so it seems very unpleasant and invasive! In fact she said she screamed when it went up her nose.|
