Re: Kind gestures

Smashing story Mups, very similar to one I saw the other day when a motorcyclist stopped 4 lanes of traffic on a busy intersection to rescue a kitten frozen with fear right in the middle of it. There are still plenty of good people out there thank goodness..

Re: Kind gestures

I think watching and listening to the media gives us a very distorted view of society in general, and we look on others with doubt and suspicion and therefore we are pleasantly surprised when people show kindness and love.

Yes, I think there's a lot of truth in that, Foxy.

He was such a giant of a man, but he was so gentle with that tiny duckling. It really made me feel real good seeing it.
I do hope it found it's Mummy.

Re: Kind gestures

Thanks for taking the time to write this Mups. It's the kind of story we need to hear. Simple little acts of total kindness and decency really help one to keep banging on in this sometimes very very sad, cruel and selfish world. That guy is a role model every every young man should see. An example of a real man.
