I don't mind watching organised fireworks, the best display I ever saw was in Florida, it was magical and spectacular.

I HATE the loud bangers, they get louder every year that goes by, only last night I was just coming out of Asda and I nearly had a fit, one went off so loud I swear I felt the ground shake, frightened the life out of me!

I'll sign it. Fireworks in the wrong hands can be catastrophic
I agree....stop selling to the public. (but would the determined ones still buy online?)

Hi

The point is being missed.

If you ban one thing you set a precedent for others to be banned.

True:

8 Foods That Are Completely Banned in The UK

https://www.tastemade.co.uk/articles...nned-in-the-uk

There’s a fair few foods and ingredients that are banned in the UK. To be fair, some appear to be banned for some pretty good reasons (like potential death).

1. Arsenic-Laced Chicken

2. Pufferfish

3. Bread With Potassium Bromate

4. Pink Slime

5. Sannakji

6. Pork Infused With Ractopamine

7. Blood Clams

8. Genetically Engineered Papaya
So, in this example, precedents are a good thing, otherwise people might die .....

Re: Fireworks

I love Fireworks but hate what they do my poor dog. I'd also like to see them getting banned for Public use, just for the big organised displays only. They can get better ones than the public can anyway.

We ban guns in the wrong hands, we ban bombs what are fireworks if not explosive devices and bombs in the wrong hands. I'm surprised no one seems bothered about our ex service men who suffer at this time of year.

Soirry, but I don't think the point was missed at all Swim.

A reminder of the points you made:

I love fireworks, great fun.

My dogs have never had an issue with them.

How can that be misunderstood?
I doubt anyone missed your point.

We have had lots of dogs in our time and none of them were sensitive to fireworks and they lived in kennels outside.

Re: Fireworks

I don't really understand why we celebrate this in the first place?

What if that nutter Guy Fawkes had succeeded in his quest?

Do we 'celebrate and party' any other near-disasters for the next 4 centuries?

Typical callous attitude.

If your poor dogs were shut outside on their own on firework night, how the hell would you know how they were - disgusting.

You already posted just now that pets should be kept indoors, and yet you stuck yours outside!

Ridiculous woman.
