Thread up

In your opinion ,what makes for a "good" thread? and how can a thread be viewed as such.

Is it because the topic is controversial, familiar, your pet subject or some other reason.

Or are you being deliberately argumentative , crude , subjective or have you copied one seen elsewhere?

In my humble opinion, all threads will fall into any of those categories eventually. The only ones I would steer well clear of are crude ones - if you look up the word 'prude' in the dictionary, you'll probably see a picture of me

I've lost count of the times I've been called a prude - they say that to me as if it's a bad thing!

There is nothing wrong with being a prude, we have lines that we don't like to cross. There are some threads that I think might look interesting then when I see what is being talked about, I leave.
