New kitchen

I have bitten the bullet. I`m having a new kitchen. I have no children and I cannot take my money with me. I`m fed up of trying to cook on an old 50cm cooker and so much wasted room not to mention the dreadful lighting. I do not suppose it will be cheap but oh the thought of a large hob, built in double oven ,an extractor rather than a cheap filter and new units.

Hopefully it should all be done by September.

Good for you OG, I hope the installation goes well and you end up with the kitchen you want.

Re: New kitchen

That'll be me at some stage! Bathroom first, after the bedroom is finished, then the kitchen.

Re: New kitchen

Sounds good Stephan

I can't afford a new kitchen but am looking forward to cooking on my sons when his new house is built.

If I could afford a new kitchen my dilemma would be should I spend all that money or make do with my old one and eat out every night

Re: New kitchen

Thanks all. I love to cook but the kitchen I have now is not a lot of fun.

Re: New kitchen

I got the artist`s impression of my new kitchen yesterday. Oh wow. I think I have offered the job to a decent bunch. All I can go on is my impression of the chap who has been here twice. He talked to me about what I would like and then offered advice-never any pressure and the design is something I could never have planned.
