DIY and MAINTENANCE?

Is either you or your husband/wife competent in DIY or Maintenance?

Perhaps (worse) they are keen but sadly produce more problems or don't finish what they start!!

Very grateful my hubby enjoys sorting things out, and can fix them too.


Left to my own devices ....... I have no idea!!! The only fixin' I can do is helping with dogs and owners!


The other day our front door latch was stuck. Needed to take the dogs out for a walk, so phoned hubby at work - he patiently suggested that I pull the door closed, and simply lock it using the double-lock safety key!!! Now why didn't I think of that!!!

Like you Rainbow darlin' am hopeless at DIY - would rather pay a professional to do whatever is necessary than have me attempt it and 'lash it up' and then have to get a professional in to correct that which I'd managed to ruin.

I'm completely useless. To me the abbrevation DIY means, DESTROY IT YOURSELF!

Makes two of us John matey. My Father was an engineer by profession, but I didn't inherit any of his mechanical skills.
