Butterfly
I've just seen my first Butterfly of the year, hopefully it bodes well for a good summer ahead. Just North of Edinburgh btw.

That is early Ray. Which specie was it? I think a few do overwinter & hibernate.

I don't know my butterflies well enough to tell I'm afraid Tiff, it was a dark colour though.

Seen quite a few bees and ladybirds since the good weather we had recently. No butterflies as yet, but I saw my first ant yesterday.
