My 34 Year Old Daughter Has Been Refused Alcohol in Morrisons

And no, she wasn't drunk at the time. She was ID'd and seemingly couldn't sufficiently convince them she was old enough.

Things have certainly changed (a lot) since our day.

Are you aware of any such similar cases and can you beat this one.

I did once get asked around the same age as your daughter. She should be flattered, its frustrating but a compliment!

Yes, my daughter was refused to be served in a pub where she was drinking with friends, on her round the bar tender told her she wasn't old enough even though they had all been drinking alcohol since they'd got there. She was 25.

Can you get a credit card if you're under 18?

I doubt it some how.

Surely having a credit card(s) in your name is sufficient proof?

Or would they say you could have stolen the credit card?

One of these days she'll realise what a lucky girl she is to look so young!
My niece is 45 now, and still looks ridiculously young!

My daughter was refused alcohol in Tesco, she was 43....

Must get her young looks off her Dad.....

I didn't think it was such a problem "back in the day".

My daughter is aware of the upside.
