If she'd (or rather her controlling husband) been offended on religious purposes they should have stated that, as Islam is spread across all races (albeit more from certain parts of the world), which totally makes a mockery of their "case"
I hope the doctor is ok after all this, as it must be a tremendous knock to his self-confidence when practicing in future.
