Other times Amazon require you to spend a certain amount to get free postage so I order a book or something to make the amount up. It doesn't bother me as I'm always ordering books. Can't have too many.

That's why I use it all the time.
I can also order something on a Saturday and it arrives Sunday.
I love Prime personally and think it's worth every penny. I save the annual fee just by the lack of delivery costs alone.

I took a months trial of prime because the item I wanted was only available to prime members. I cancelled within the month but will probably rejoin. A much bigger reason to avoid amazon is their legal tax avoidance. Our government pays much more to amazon to use their cloud services than amazon pays in tax and amazon are pushing for a reduction in their business rates in the UK.08-08-2018, 07:53 AM

Its funny that it was another discussion about Amazon Prime that prompted me into actually signing up for it. Im loving it. I get all the music you could ever wish for included as well as access to free books, films and box sets . The free delivery is for me an added bonus
Netflix is £5.99 a month and thats just tv, or for us it was £7.99 as we added mum. £7.99 covers us all here, plus daughter who doesnt even live in the same county
But yes I do agree it is very easy to click on prime by accident
