Help needed please

As I am not computer literate yet!I hope the following makes sense-when I'm replying to a post and want to include someone's quote, but not all of the quote, how do I go about it. Hope somebody knows what I mean

I know what you mean merz - what I would do is use the Quote button, so you get the whole thing and then delete the stuff you don't want - or you could highlight the bit you do by putting it in bold font, or you could do both! There may be an easier way to do it, but I don't know it!

Thanks for that angieh-didn't realise you could delete part of post-will give it a go next time

Angieh's right - you can just edit out the bit you don't want in there

Thanks Azz-thought about going to night-school on a basic computer course-changed my mind though-wouldn't be able to spend much time on Dogsey and this forum
