Apple Tree

I was given an apple tree grafted on a dwarf root stock some years ago,this spring it gave its best display of blossom and was absolutely laden with fruit,the winds on Saturday toppled it over,turns out the roots were rotten through with just a tap root holding it.The apples weren't particularly nice to eat but the birds loved them,hey ho now there's an hole or rather a gap to fill.
