My thought exactly.

Well if the the King Size Prat wants to act a prat it's his own business though I always thought Americans were big on this respect and dis-respect thing. Apparently not.

As long as he keeps away from his big red button he's a good laugh and a great source of material for political lampooning. In fact, he's a natural.

You jest, surely? Going backwards, he didn't attend the funeral because John McCain left express instructions that he was not welcome - nothing to do with him not being a hypocrite. Thus this principled president went golfing and found time to tweet a load of nonsense to try and divert attention onto his sole love, himself.

He has only his own interests at heart, he couldn't give a toss about the average American, especially those who are not white. His principles are fluid, often leading to him changing policy within 24 hrs of the initial statement, usually by tweet.

He is a disaster, not only for the US but for the World. His demise would be a blessing, a massively good thing, where is a righteous assassin when you want one?

Re: Trump - President non grata?

I don't know too much about Donald Trump Devo, except what I see in the news, but it strikes me that anyone who introduces a tariff on Chinese Steel to protect the American steel industry sounds like common sense to me. We should have done the same. Okay, it would make steel more expensive but when you consider the loss of employment of tax paying workers, not to mention the loss of skills that go with the decline of a specialised industry. Then there are the peripheral businesses providing services to the steel industry, such as small manufacturers and even shops.

He has banned visitors from certain countries where terrorism is suspected. Who in British government is brave enough to suggest such a radical policy?
Terrorists are being produced at home I hear you say. So what does that say about our vetting system over the years.

The majority of Americans voted for him and he has fulfilled most of his promises despite massive opposition. People seem to focus more on the superficial side of Trump without looking at the progress he has made. Okay, he may frequent twitter and play golf but he sure gets important things done. He's doing well as far as I can see....

Re: Trump - President non grata?

The trouble with Trump is that he uses the US economic power in much the same way as a 1930s gangster used violence. He is just a latter day gangster boss, throwing his weight around, to satisfy whatever whim is preoccupying him today. He4 doesn't understand what it is to be a national leader, he does not understand politics and diplomacy, it is not enough to please his supporter base and no one else. it will end in tears for the US, the World will not put up with the moron forever. I suppose that is when he starts WW3.
