Re: NHS - needless re-appointments to get extra cash says bosses?

IT is stupid twice a year I get called in for an appointment, twice a year the doctor asks me why I'm there, twice a year I say to called me in. I'm not child bearing age anymore so this appointment is totally ridiculous. I missed one hoping to stop them and got royally told off for it. So I'll carry on going but I want to see my allergist and she has a waiting list over four years long, rate I'm going ill be dead from an allergy before I see her.

Just happened to me , sent a letter stating i had missed an appointment, it was a lie. When challenged they admitted it, but i bet they claim the costs.
