Out of control?

Oh dear - the plastic top has fallen off my RH Ctrl key
I didn't even know there were 2 of those - I always use the LH one.
So, tecchie people - how I fix it back, if only to stop there being an ugly open space there?

Re: Out of control?

Are there no signs that it could clip back on, DM?

Re: Out of control?

If you sit it back onto the position it's meant to be on and apply a bit of pressure it should 'pop' back on

Re: Out of control?

What they said ^^

Most keyboards have keys that can be 'popped' in and out

If yours doesn't, you can either try the glue method or just pick up a USB keyboard for about a fiver -they are quite cheap these days

Re: Out of control?

Yes - it just clicked back into place.
I think it was maybe, er, misplaced, when Bentley was fussing round me this morning. He did walk over the keyboard a couple of times, so probably hooked a claw under it. Oops.
But I did learn there was a second Ctrl key - wonder if I can teach my brain and fingers to use it?

Re: Out of control?

I did know there were two, but have never used the right one. Nor the right shift or option key either. Wonder why the redundancy?
