Yes you could do this but Ireland have already said that there will be no hatd border and checks will be done away from the geographical border anyway.

It's all a myth.

He doesn't know the difference between the common travel area and trade

He should listen to Simon Coveneys explanation of having checks away from the border and then see exactly what the GFA says about hard borders.

I think DM means freedom of movement as defined in the single market.

It looks like the Irish are not in a hurry to impose a border anyway should we leave without a withdrawal agreement...
