What then is to stop Boris when asked, For what reason are you requesting a 3 month extension? He delivers the stock answer.''Absolutely no reason, It is a complete and utter waste of time"

What do you think the EU's reaction would be in that case?
The Benn bill stipulates that the lettre shall contain a request for extension, for the reason as mentioned in article 50, paragraph 3.
That is enough explanation.

Yep but we must not forget that those people are in reality EU representatives. Mostly connected to businesses within businesses which essentially means they are on the EU gravy train. Nice pay backs, bonuses, peerages etc

This despicable song and dance is in effect the EU not the UK.

That is probably the most important reason why you love the UK, it is EU2 (EUsquare)

I'm surprised that you aren't more concerned about the problems of Suriname

but maybe patriotism means nothing to you after you have abandoned your country of birth.

I agree.

I wonder whether they used the same strategy in reversing initial 'leave' referenda in Ireland and Denmark.

If so, it worked for them.

We must be a little more persistent.

Agreed, JBR.

We have to keep going and ensure that the remainers don't get the impression that it's all over.

Roll on next year!

That has to be a joke. The EU was perfectly clear what they wanted in the deal May brought home, on the other hand the British Parliament hasn't even had the nous to agree on anything except there is not to be no deal.

One thing Brexit has shown is that Britain doesn't need a government at all. The government has been farting about for three years on Brexit to the exclusion of everything else and yet the country has got on fine without any governing at all - perhaps the Britishi parliament is actually a complete waste of time and money.

I hope the EU refuses an extension, this farce has gone on for long enough. I suspect 'crashing out' will be like the Millenium Bug and vastly over rated and we can start talking about something more interesting.

The world will miss the pantomime but all good things must come to an end. I do hope you will dump the clown on 1st Nov, he has already shown what an incompetent twat he is.
