How come, again? At the inception of wto in 1995 the UK was a member of the EU and as such represented in the wto. Besides being one of the 164 members.

As with brexit, it took you long enough. The separation of the UK from the EU representation was formally requested on 24 july 2018. Perhaps it took so long because the usa, canada and australia were against the initial conditions of separation?

The UK is a founding member of GATT which precedes the WTO.

The EU negotiated as a WTO member on behalf of the UK since we were a member state. Now we have left the EU we negotiate ourselves on our own behalf.

Something you can't do.

Get your facts right. Gatt was the provisional agreement. Wto as an organisation started in 1995.

Not being a EU member you must, as a minor player, negotiate for yourself.

Something we don't need to do.

GATT was a "General" agreement

How are we a minor player ? The EU has the same number of seats as everyone else in the WTO, including us.

You don't even sit at the front, to the back you go, watching your unelected EU diktat making a pigs ear of everything.

Wto as an organisation was instituted in 1995. There was no predecessing organisation.

We can lean back in our chairs, letting the EU work for ca 500 mln citizens. The UK tries to do the same for 60 mln. China does for 1500 mln. So yes, you are a minor player.

How many seats do all your 27 countries have in the WTO to share ?

You can't say your a major player when you only have 1/27 of a seat

.... and no choice, you must accept what Germany tells you to have

As you know, each member has it's own voice and vote, so that means 27 seats. Besides that the EU is a member, so if arithmatics don't fail me, that is a total of 28.
UK has one seat too, doesn't it?

One of the frequently mentioned objections to the WTO is its way of working, and in particular its 'consensus building'. This decision-making process is opaque and not democratic, critics say. The GATT also suffered from this criticism. In theory, all Member States have an equal voice. Although officially possible, voting has never occurred. The Member State that does not oppose a proposal during meetings is automatically deemed to be in favor.

This form of consensus building takes place outside of formal meetings, in the so-called 'back rooms'. This informal consultation is considered necessary inherent to the WTO and "takes the upper hand when time is running out or important decisions are made".
