Quite. The EU defined its negotiating position for the FTA negotiations in March 2018 (!)

Why does it need to ratify it still with the 27 then if it was done in 2018 ??? Why are they waiting until March ?

It's called democracy. The objectives have been set in 2018. All members have their say on the stance to take, especially since there has been a new europarliament elected in 2019.
Hasn't boris told the british parliament he will not listen to their opinion on his negotiations, and besides he won't tell them anyway what he is doing in these negotiations?

Hi

Walking away from our biggest market and sticking two fingers up is not a good idea financially.

Leaving is fine, but there has to be a sense of realism.
