That's drawing a very long bow.

Wasn't the WWW invented in Switzerland during the CERN project? I can't remember the details but there was a British scientist involved but to say it was invented by the UK is just not true.

From memory it was not a CERN project but was used to disseminate data and CERN decided to release the methodology into the public domain. Something like that.

Your point being? Didn't I say a British scientist was involved? but it was not invented by the UK as you claimed it was invented in Switzerland in a European agency.
