Lots of places do now. We like Ask Italian and they always offer a box to take home what you don’t eat. We cut our pizzas in half before we start, eat half and take half home for supper and that leaves room for pudding! And all paid for with vouchers from our Tesco club points .....

Doggie bags - actually boxes, are ubiquitous. These days, many of the mid-range restaurants also offer to-go beverage cups.I think a lot of this stems from the giant portions that so many places serve. It's not uncommon for people who are dieting to ask for a box early and box up half their meal so as not to eat the whole thing in one sitting.
