Right now I'm watching the womens marathon on BBC2... they're running along the beach road where our hotel was when we stayed there, overlooking the ocean.People are leaning over the balconies of the hotels there waving..the sun is shining and everyone is wearing bright colours, all looks gorgeous.
My two youngsters are there somewhere, it's right near their apartment, so strange that I might get a glimpse of them waving!

The nation is stunned this morning.The Netball team was beaten - not by the Kiwis but by England (no one even knew they played the game)
The Rugby Sevens Women's team was beaten by the Kiwis - not so bad but still not expected.
...and the closing ceremony was abysmal with the stadium half empty by the time it finished. The local TV rights holders apologised for it at the end of the broadcast.
