Rhian, these look lovely on you! I'm 5'4" too and learned a long time ago that wedges and platforms give extra height and the look of being high heels without any discomfort that sometimes comes with regular heels.

Your shoes remind me of these that were very popular when I was about 13. I remember begging my mother for them. Were they popular there?

I'm 5'6" luckily hubby is 6' 1" so I can wear heals if I want and I do sometimes but I have to admit I go for comfort these days. I do still wear heals but only occasionally. I have high insteps too Rhian.
