I think you can still buy them, mainly bought for nursing mothers...I have tried that same approach with Mrs Rehab,
her response is generally quite short ending in ‘off’ or words to the effect that I am a bloody old perv! There is no pleasing some of you ladies.

I am now in recovery mode after getting a bit of a verbal beating from a a respected poster that I liked earlier today plus the remainder of a rather nice Pinot Grigio from lunch. I am trying to maintain my low standards

Re: Your seat

8 seat corner unit here and I tend to sit in the corner section, legs stretched out in front of me. Cat sits that the end by my feet and hubby sits the other end, his legs stretched toward me

Then we usually all nod off

Poor you.

I fell down the stairs in one of our previous houses. It was very painful indeed for quite a while. I can't sit on hard seats without a lot of discomfort. I have a seat pad when driving.

This is my armchair.

Re: Your seat

My husband and I, oh how very regal, have a recliner chair each. Mine is by the fireplace with a small table next to it for my coffee cup and tablet and sometimes a book. If someone visits and sits in it then that is guests rights and I will need to get up and put the kettle on anyway.
