Sounds bloody awful, SP. Thank goodness you got away okay as some of these situations can become quite intimidating and even threatening.

I usually have a coach transfer on holidays unless I book my flight separate in which case I get the airport taxi, who are usually one firm who can be trusted to ask the standard fare.

Yes, hubby booked the flight and accommodation. We have been overcharged by airport taxis. You read about these kinds of things, I think we were lucky.

That's terrible SP, well at least I don't go abroad any more, but even so, I wouldn't like to be treated like that.
