Listen, Do You Want To Know A Secret?

Do you promise not to tell?

I haven’t got any secrets but if you told me your secret, it would be safe with me... but wait, isn’t that unfair to saddle me with all that responsibility?
What if that secret was detrimental to your future, your health or someone else’s future, like you were going to leave your partner, or you were going to attack or murdered someone? What am l supposed to do?
This is why, l don’t like being told a secret.

What is your take on secrets? Are you secretive or do you know any secretive people?

If someone tells me something in confidence I never break my word

I hate secrets. I used to love them but the older I get the more it feels like a burden to have to keep schtum.

I'm pretty good at keeping a confidence and in the past I've had a few of my friends seem to want to offload to me so that makes me think they trust me.

I'm like Rhi, I wouldn't share mine, I don't trust a lot of people, hey, perhaps I should share my secrets with myself because I won't tell anyone

I always keep secrets that are told to me. I like to think I'm honest enough for people to confide in me and I wouldn't want those people to tell stories about me either.

I don't like people who come up to me and say "Don't say anything, but so-and-so did this-and-that....". Happens all the time at work and you end up not trusting anybody. Talking behind people's backs. I hate that.

I can't bear that. You try to just get along with everyone and do your job and then someone tries to poison you against others. The trouble is that people who do this get offended if you don't give them back negative gossip. It's so frustrating.

Haha, no it was a new hotel in Bulgaria, even the taxi driver could not find it. I thought we had been conned at one time, but we found it.
