I find it irritating when someone adresses me as "girl"....Sarcasm irritates me.....
I don't like to be called "kid" as my brother used to call me.
I don't like "fill in words" like SO, BASICALLY, YA KNOW,
I don't like when someone uses the words "to be honest with you" "I got to be honest about it" "in all honesty"
and there are several others relating to the same thing.
Using The Lord's name in Vain....

It's difficult. Most of these words & phrases are used tongue-in-cheek by friends. But those used by complete strangers ie. salesmen ....Top of the list:
As an opener, out of the blue, "how are you today?" I hate it because it's a question and questions require answers. "Who wants to know?" is my favourite reply
really throws them.
