When you return an item and they argue with me. Then they say the above.
I say to them "On every occasion"!

That puts the blame on to me if they forget!

I hadn't either and I'm a retired electrical engineer. I came across it on an American electrical forum. I knew what it meant but it isn't a word we use in UK.

Another Americanism that doesn't sit well with me is "gotten".

And I don't l care for bad grammar for example "should of".

That one drives me crazy too, Besoeker, along with 'can I' instead of 'may I'!

"You only live once" and "Lifes too short"
"Babe" and also the word "So" and overuse of the word "like" in inappropriate places
