You could well be right.

Seriously though, how many people do you know who have been mentally damaged or gone off the rails in life, because Prince Charming kissed Sleeping Beauty while she slept?

Seems to me it is these politically correct people who's minds are twisted and corrupt the innocent mostly..

Re: Should we ban Fairy Tales

I loved the fairy tales from my childhood. My imagination would just run wild and it was so much fun.

Look at what our mothers would sing as they rocked us...

Rock-a-bye, baby
On the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
If the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
But mama will catch you
Cradle and all

Baby is drowsing
Cozy and fair
Mother sits near
In her rocking chair
Forward and back
The cradle she swings
And though baby sleeps
He hears what she sings

Hush a bye baby
Up in the sky
On a soft cloud
it’s easy to fly
Angels keep watch
Over as you sleep
So hush a bye baby
Don’t make a peep

Rock a bye baby
Do not you fear
Never mind baby
Mother is near
Wee little fingers
Eyes are shut tight
Now sound asleep
Until morning light

We didn't sing it like that....I can't remember how we used to sing it....anybody know...?

For instance, the creation story, Noah's flood, the 'virgin' birth of that guy Jesus, his 'resurrection', have no credibility whatsoever. The awful book of Revelation, can be interpreted to say anything you wish it to. The extreme Biblical literalists make mountains out of mole hills, frightening children and the credulous with unpleasant treats if they don't see it their way and convert.

That's true Mups. Much better that we have video games where we can murder people and steal cars for a living.
