Problem solved!
I took Rhian's advice - he liked the "cariad" part of it but the "Cau dy effyn geg!" made him blush. Perhaps Rhian was being mischievous (as if!) and teaching me rude words or, more likely, it was my complete massacre of the Welsh language!
Anyway - I brought him into the Craft Room and he is sitting on my desk, because he has his back to the light he is not dancing about any more, but he has enough light to see by - most important - Dragons go blind if you keep them in the dark.
