Old photographs

I have some old photo's of family and this one is hanging on the wall of the stairs.

The little girl who has her arm in a sling is my s-i-l who has passed away. The little one sat of the bench with a scowl on her face is my s-i-l, she is a lovely person and really funny. The lady directly behind the boy on the end is my m-i-l, she has also passed away. My husband was not yet born.

The photo was taken at a street party to celebrate V.E. Day.

Has anyone any old pics of family? I love looking at them.

My older sister has lots

. I also have access to many photographs containing family members which were included in two books about the village in which I grew up .

Lovely photo - what memories

I have loads of old photos but need to scan them when I can get my scanner to work (or get a new one that is compatible with Windows 7!!)

Here is one of me in High School

I am in the middle row, 4th one in from the rh side looking at the photo! I am still friends with the girl 2nd from rh side (we've been friend since our "Rosebud" days at church aged 4 years old, and I am also in touch with the girl on the other side to me - 5th one in from the rh side, we "met" up on the Govan Memories site I go on

She was my wee pal at primary school as well
