Why did I wait so long before doing the detox again!

I've been doing the detox for a month and a bit now, and already feel soooooooooo different. I am literally running and dancing around the place LOL.

Rocky thinks I've gone mad but am sure he'll get used to it.

Anyway, for those of you who don't feel great or 'amazing' I really do recommend you give it a read, and perhaps a go - it might be one of the most difficult things I've ever done, but it's definitely one of the best things I ever did.

Btw, to answer my own question. I think it's because the negative effects of crap in our 'food' manifest themselves over a period of time and not immediately. It kinda creeps up on you and before you know it your body is bogged down with all the rubbish you've eaten... and you only really realise when it gets too much.

I'm pleased to hear you're benefiting from the detox, Azz, it makes it all worthwhile.

Is that this session over for a while or is it an ongoing exercise for you?

Out of interest, does it have any affect on your weight, loss or gain?

I so agree that you are what you eat. If I go a day without fresh fruit and veggies in my diet, my body tells me to get some.

Good for you Azz, I really don't know if I could make it through the complete Detox.

Oh that sounds really hard I did a food intolerance detox when my kids were small as I got a lot of migraines. Just water for so long then introduce foods one at a time. I was so ill i had to take a week off work. I thought my head would explode. Silly to try it on my own. This one sounds a lot kinder I am on quite a strict diet at the moment and I feel great, lots of energy and buzz. i dont think you do think about the bad things or lack of exercise. Once you cut back and exercise more its a fantastic feeling. I lost 7and a half pounds in two weeks and I'm only a stone overweight my bmi was 25.2 and its now 23.9 so I'm back in the healthy zone and I feel much better for it not sluggish anymore.
