Re: Photoshopped photos

I've tried cutting out on Befunky but my hands not steady enough, I end up chopping the wrong bits off! I think a mouse would help!
I used to use Microsoft Picture It which was brilliant but it's no longer compatible with anything newer than Millennium!
It was so easy to use and language which made sense!

Art software is capable of producing good images. My small efforts are nothing compared to what others can do with this particular program.

It would be too long and boring to read the many steps that make up the above images (cutting, joining, effects, transparencies, fills and more) but here's a picture showing the various parts that make up the overall image:

Re: Photoshopped photos

I wish I understood these editing programmes, but then I'd be spending all day playing with my photos.
They are works of art, now my hands aren't so good for painting and drawing, I can see that making art from my thousands of photos could be a pleasing option.
I must look into it further!

Re: Photoshopped photos

I can't paint or draw Tess, I wish I could but anyway, an art program does allow a person to be a bit artistic without using a pencil or paintbrushes. However, I think those who can make art programs really sing and dance are probably artists to begin with.

With practice though, it is possible get some good results. Not as good as others get but not too bad.

There are two versions of the program I use. Expensive (Pro version) and not so expensive. I have the second type.

The program might not be bought for it's photo editing functions particularly. It can do photos, vector drawings and mix the two formats but I think it would primarily be bought as an artistic vector drawing program with added capabilities for working with photographs.

Re: Photoshopped photos

Could you explain what a "vector" drawing is please?
I've never heard of it before.
