I can only think that we'll be seeing you on the news soon Geoff, being carted off to the coronary unit on the back of a flat bed truck....

Doesn't bear thinking about! That lot would last me a whole week (or more).

No Barry, my heart is in good shape, just my lungs and my lower limb joints that are a disaster.

I happen to like my food and enjoy both cooking and eating. Nouvelle cuisine was NEVER my style, I fill my plate.

Thank you Barry - yes have no plans to 'pop my clogs' just yet - I want to see a Republic here before I 'kick the bucket'.

Sounds like you're on the "seefood" diet UJ!

As I can please myself what & when I eat for the next few days I'll just "graze" on anything that takes my fancy. I do have some healthy fruit but my friend has given me 2 boxes of chocolates and they are a bit tempting......

Yes, I think you're right about the odd treat because I didn't expect to lose anything this week, but I also lost 1lb.

I've lost 11lb since 19th February. Not to outdo you or anything Mags, but I've probably got more to lose than you. Ideally, I need to shed another 2 stone. It sounds a lot, but doing it this way, with no immediate hurry, seems the best way.

Attention Uncle Joe

No, you can't have my choccies, I'm saving them for Easter
Carmen darlin' - news here this morning - apparently some American Scientists have discovered that chocolate DOESN'T cause weight increase, on the contrary it helps to speed up metabolism so you might lose weight even faster by scoffing those choccies.
