The one I'm talking about was last Saturday evening and called: By the People: The election of Barack Obama

The programmes you are talking about are the ones by Simon Schama on Obama's America. Good as well, but not so focussed on "Mr President"!

I love the man. His popularity is not like it was when he was elected because he has had to do many things that are not popular, like bailing out the banks but it was a MUST to keep us afloat. People seemed to forget who caused all this mess....George W. Longest eight years of my life!!

It will come as no surprise to both Buzzie and Dandysmom that George W was not a very well liked president over here either - and that's putting it mildly!!!
