Phone cleaning

As you may remember, my phone is my computer as well as everything else

Although I wash my hands regularly I'm sure that my phone is not as clean or as germ-free as it could be.

I will sometimes give it a wipe with a barely-damp cloth. I had to last night as I was on Whatsapp after eating a halloumi fry with my fingers and the screen got greasy!

Are there disinfectant wipes or anything similar to clean phones with?
What do you use?

Re: Phone cleaning

This stuff:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Flents-Wipe.../dp/B001EJ3Q2A

Good for lots of technological objects and lasts (almost) forever .....

It's a large bottle so I transfer it into smaller ones, which I keep where they're most needed .....

I use e eyewear cleaning wipes:-

"Moist cloths for the gentle smear free cleaning of spectacles, cameras and other optical devices."

I get them at Costco, in packs of 200,and use them on phones, hearing aids, and specs.

Only a few bob!

p.s. this is not an advert - but they work!

Ha ha - I thought it was a mistake about shoe cleaning.

BTW you could try an optician for that lens/specs cleaner too - mine gives me a little bottle every year but frankly it is easy enough to make your own:
  • 50% water
  • 50% alcohol - I use isopropyl alcohol which costs three parts of bugger all per litre (but rubbing alcohol will do).
  • A tiny drop of washing up liquid (just a spot)

Put it in a spray bottle
