Also today the " Nordlys" one of the Hurtigruten ships is on fire at Alesund, sadly 2 crew members have died and 16 injured. the ship is now in great danger of capsizing as they cant pump the water out quick enough.
very sad also for the 270 odd people on the trip.

Richard Whith is one of the later ships and a bit larger than the Nordlys and the Nord Nord.
We did the round trip about 3 years ago on the Nordlys in October, not the best month, poor weather. There were never more than 20 people on the ship at any time in the trip, and when we arrived back in Bergen I think there were 10 people that got off.I hope you have a good trip .

I can't quite decide whether I like him or not, hmmmmm.
