Again sorry Bruce but you are plain wrong.
In the raw data Excel files above the causes of death are specifically recorded. If you bother to look, you will see that deaths caused by Pneumonia are on their own separate line.
So, wrong on both counts sorry. #musttryharder
You merely show yet again (with your mindless repetition of things that you have already said) that you have no understanding of statistics, their collection and how changing the criteria can change the result.
The bureau clearly states that these figures are
not logged by 'specifically recorded' cause of death they are deaths recorded where
"Flu was mentioned as one of the causes of the death" there can be several causes of death mentioned.
The bureau also warns that you cannot add all the statistics together to arrive at a total because the same deaths appear in several categories. ie deaths from flu will also appear in deaths from pneumonia. Your repeated assertion that it is a 'specific' cause of death is just plain wrong.
Common sense tells you that the statistics are obviously flawed for your argument because the 2009 flu epidemic really happened and it is known that there were thousands extra deaths from flu that year as shown by the total deaths for that year yet the 'flu' statistics show a mere total of 79 deaths where flu was recorded as a cause - again because the ICD criteria were different at that time.
All that has happened is that the criteria for recording of statistics has changed there is no sudden increase in deaths from flu there has just been a change in the methods of recording deaths or a change in the number of causes of deaths that can be recorded.
Your ignorant use of statistics is totally flawed and just repeating the same old drivel over and over doesn't make it any less so.
