Re: Radical Muslims slaughtering Christians

Before this becomes another Muslim bashing topic, it might be of interest that Buddhists are also persecuting Christians and it's on the rise.
In all of these religions there are so many different sects. We know this with regard to Christianity., and not all groups agree follow the same doctrine. So blaming ONE religion en mass for all of these atrocities, is not even ethics.

Also to be taken into consideration is the 'tribe' mentality. We haven't had tribes in UK for hundreds of years, although there have been and still are 'clans'. With that in mind, we should not forget we were still beheading and burning people at the stake 500 yrs ago.

There are obviously more 'clans' arising out of the dust in this day and age, thus creating the same issues we thought we had outgrown.

Where the skew ball comes in is that whereas there are many Christian sects and even Jewish sects, for that matter no small number of churches that claim to be Christian yet are not, in the case of Islam there is only ----- Islam.

Granted there are two principle schools of Jurisprudence, but that does not equate to sects. The schools of jurisprudence originate from when The Old Fraud snuffed it, and who should be treasurer and team leader in his stead.

The closest thing to alternative sects in the case of Islam are such groups as the Sufi (check 'em out) but they are utterly rejected by 'real' Islam that considers Sufism to be everything from being apostate to blasphemy - and beyond.

My point remains. How does mankind benefit from religion(s)?

I was simply pointing out that Buddhists are also taking the lives of Christians. Tell us about them and their reasons, if you can.

Oh, and Hindu's against Christians.

https://www.opendoorsusa.org/christi...ch-list/india/

On June 19, 2018, five Christian women (aged 20 to 35) were performing a street play in Jharkhand when they were abducted and then gang raped in a forest. Police stated that the assault was also allegedly filmed on cell phones.

On January 20, 2018, the body of Pastor Gideon Periyaswamy in Adaiyalachery (Kanchipuram District, Tamil Nadu) was found hung from the thatched roof of his house, a week after he complained to police about opposition from radical Hindus.

Re: Radical Muslims slaughtering Christians
There is a fundamental difference between Islam and Christianity and that whereas Christianity can change church canons, though some easier than others, Islam can not. What was set in concrete 1300 years ago CAN NOT BE CHANGED.

Old Mo "sealed" Islam with his statement that there would be no prophets after him. Hence he had the last word and no-one can change what he set out in his book or the way that he supported it with his worked examples in the strong Hadith.

Check out "Khatam an-Nabiyin". It's in the Qur'an.

Moreover unlike Islam which has no sects, just schools of Jurisprudence, both Christianity and Judaism have a number of sects added to which ongoing prophets are free to be taken into account and have and do make quite radical changes as in the case of women preachers and the acceptability of gay love.

Unlike Islam Judeo-Christianity is not "Sealed".
Tell that to an Irish Catholic priest !!!
