Kanwar Singh and the Coverack flood
Following the terrible flood in the Cornish village of Coverack, the whole community has turned out in force to help with the big clean up. Locals and holiday makers alike have joined the emergency services and council workers in dealing with the disaster.
One man in particular stands out for me though; Kanwar Singh from an organisation called Khalsa Aid, travelled all the way from Slough to help.
The ex cage fighter has been involved in lots of humanitarian disasters around the World including Syria and Nepal but it's nice to see that he is prepared to help out with domestic disasters too.
What a great bloke.
