I was given two.. yes two.. premium bonds for my Christmas box in 1956.
1AK something something something. I sold one for 15/- in January 1957. Anybody wanna buy the other one?

Because it isn't wealth, it might have been years ago but not now. I would be concerned if that was all the dosh we had, especially as the sort of care home we would require, if the need arises, wouldn't be cheap.

but just out of curiosity, what's the remaining one worth.

I wonder if, as a kid, you were all that impressed about getting a 'bond' for xmas -
rather than something "useful"
