If you could move abroad for good...

....where would you go?

I think New Zealand for me, or perhaps Canada.

I'd be quite happy in Tenerife. The ex-pats all seem very happy out there and it's warm all year round.

52 weeks of the year full on sunshine, temps in the mid 70's,
Bungalow / Villa on the shore line and a sea full of edible fish,
where ever that is I don't know Florida maybe ?

Hi

The Florida Keys, fantastic climate and fishing.

Realistically Poland, my Pension is protected there and Inflation linked.

Great fishing and I could live like a King there.

As an Ex Government Employee, my Tax would be paid in the UK and as my Injury Pensions are Tax Free, my income would be 8 times the Polish Average.

To be honest, I would much rather stay here, I think the UK is a great place to live and I can always go on holiday.

Montana for me. I have visited several times and actually checked out the housing market about fifteen years ago, with a view to leaving the UK for good. It lives up to it's name of the Big Sky state. I would choose a place called Whitefish. Magnificent scenery and wildlife.

I have tried different places. I love the USA.
BUT - There is no place like home, and I am with Swimmy on that score.

Newfoundland. It’s very cold in winter but it’s where my roots are. So very scenic, I could settle there nicely.

Lanzarote. Nice temperatures all year round (more or less ), no ugly high-rise buildings anywhere and picturesque villages dotted over the island.
